Cairo is the third on the world in the population "1.Tokyo - 2.México City - 3.Cairo"so about 18 millions live in Cairo; the area of Cairo is 120 Square KM.
Cairo witnessed lots of different religions and civilizations, every corner in Cairo has part of the history "icon, building, statue...etc" you can even smell the history in the air.
The big pyramid is about 146m high , about 2 million stone , the stone weight between 15 to 20 tons , there's no sticking substances , they just deflate the air in between the stones , just note it was all 7000 years ago.
The museum has plenty of icons from the old, the middle and the modern kingdom plus the mummy room, one minute in front of each icon mean at least 6 months to finish what inside the museum.
The king Tut Ankh Amon's full treasure, the original mask which is about 16 kg pure gold , plus the coffin "160 kg gold" plus some other stuff " golden sandals, jewels....etc".
The program:
About six hours driving from Sharm to Cairo but u can bring your pillow and sleep all the way.
You get picked up at 1.00 am, around 8.00 we reach Cairo the straight to the Pyramids , you've got a chance to see the most famous three Pyramids and the Sphinx , also some other small Pyramids for the queens , you can go inside the Pyramids if you want to you can touch the history yourself.
After the Pyramids we provide you lunch then to the museum for about 2 hours.
The last place to visit in Cairo is the bazaar or khan el khalili which is a very old traditional market for all the hand made silver and golden stuff, water pipes, small statues and lots of other stuff with very fair prices. So we give you about 2 hours free time in the bazaar then leave Cairo about 5.00pm to be in Sharm again around 12.00am.
Cairo 2 overnight:
Program: First day “Memphis, Sakara, Pyramids"
Second day "Citadel, Museum, Khan El Khalili"
Luxor By flight :
2 days a week from Sharm, Tuesday and Thursday.
The program includes the visit of Karnak temple, the colossi of Memnon and the Valley of the Kings (three tombs). English guide, lunch, tickets and transfers included
Luxor 2 overnight:
The same program like Luxor over day Program No: 1. On the first day of the trip, you will stay over night in a 3-4 star hotel in Luxor. Dinner and breakfast in the hotel included. On the second day you will visit Luxor temple. English guide, tickets, one over-night stay in the hotel included. Extra suburb trips possible.
Mouse's Mountain and St. Catherine Monastery:
It located 3 hours far from Sharm in Catherine City, the monastery is down the mountain which considered a holy place by lots of religions "more like pilgrimage for Jewish".
The monastery is the oldest in the middle east" as the monasteries system has been invented in Egypt" and it still a worship place "it just open three hours daily for visitors".
There's a church inside the monastery which got lots of historical icons u can see , the roof itself is a blue sky full of stars and the sun" it's all pure gold" plus some other silver and golden staff" most of it are gifts from the great European kings".
It's a night journey : you get picked up around 10.00 pm, about three hours driving by bus to be in Catherine around 1.30 am then start going up the mountain "2/3 of the way up is a normal road you can just walk up , the last 1/3 is stairs" to reach the top before the sunrise "it'll take you about 2 1/2 hours to be on the top" then watch the fabulous view that you'll never see again for the sunrise , half an hour after the sunrise and you start going down again to the monastery , about 1 1/2 hours inside the monastery , then we bring you back to sharm around 2.00 pm.
St. Catherine monastery and Dahab:
It's another trip to the monastery but without going up the mountain.
Dahab is the next city to sharm, about 80 km far, it's very famous of the Bedouins hand made staff, shopping, and the water is perfect there for swimming.
Starting from 6.00 am driving to Catherine, inside the monastery for about 2 hours, lunch, and then driving to Dahab “about 2 hours free time in Dahab”, you'll be back in sharm around 6.00 pm.
Colored Canyon and Dahab:
The Colored Canyon is a valley in the desert in between the mountains , the surrounding mountains has plenty of wonderful different colors , the valley is not flat , some times you go up a small hill , some times under a big rock " good adventure ".It's a desert safari trip starting at 6.30 am by the jeep safari in the desert to reach the Colored Canyon , then start to walk in the canyon for about 45 minutes , lunch , then we take you to Dahab " about 2 hours free time " , to be back in sharm around 5.00 pm
